PPIA JUNIOR SUMMER INSTITUTE 

  • Applications open in September

  • Open to 3rd years

  • Economic need is given consideration

  • Applications open in September

  • Open to 3rd and 4th years and graduates

  • Must be a first-generation college student (no parent or legal guardian has a bachelor’s degree) OR come from an economically under-served community or background

  • 3.2+ GPA

  • Applications open in October

  • Open to all years and majors

  • Must come from a background that is currently underrepresented at the nation’s top law schools. Those who feel they fit these criteria are encouraged to apply. 

  • Applications for summer 2021 TBD

  • Open to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years

  • Consideration is given to underrepresented minority, first-generation, and low-income undergraduate students, but all students are invited to apply.

  • 3.2+ GPA

  • Applications open January 2021

  • Open to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years

  • Must be from a disadvantaged background, such as: first-generation, limited familial exposure to post-college education, English is not the primary language at home, and overcoming of educational hardships.

  • Must be a member of a racial, ethnic, and/or socioeconomic group that is underrepresented in legal education

  • Must commit to taking the LSAT in September 2020, and apply to law school by the conclusion of the 2020-2021 application cycle

  • Must be in financial need (as determined by FAFSA) or a member of an underrepresented minority group

  • Must be a second semester college junior or a senior, graduating from an accredited American college in good standing no later than June 30, 2021, or be a very recent graduate of an accredited American college;
